Payment Terms & Conditions

All payments on Nairakey are processed securely through Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers.
1. Introduction
These Payment Terms govern all financial transactions on the Nairakey platform. By making a payment or subscribing to our services, you agree to these terms in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment processor:
- Debit/Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Verve
- Bank Transfer: Direct bank transfers to designated accounts
- USSD: Mobile banking via USSD codes
- Bank Account: Direct debit from Nigerian bank accounts
All payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). International cards are accepted and will be converted at prevailing exchange rates.
3. Subscription Billing
3.1 Billing Cycles
- Monthly: Billed on the same day each month
- Yearly: Billed annually on the subscription anniversary date
3.2 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before renewal. Ensure your payment method is up to date to avoid service interruption.
3.3 Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails:
- We will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times
- You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
- Your account may be downgraded to Free tier after 7 days
- Property listings may be deactivated until payment is resolved
4. Pricing
Current subscription prices are displayed on our pricing page. All prices are:
- Quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN)
- Inclusive of applicable taxes
- Subject to change with 30 days notice for existing subscribers
Price changes do not affect current billing cycles. New prices apply at the next renewal.
5. Taxes
Prices displayed include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable under Nigerian tax law. Nairakey Limited is registered with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and complies with all tax obligations.
6. Receipts and Invoices
After each successful payment:
- A receipt is automatically sent to your registered email
- Transaction history is available in your dashboard
- Invoices can be downloaded for business expense purposes
- Contact support for custom invoice requirements
7. Currency
All transactions are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). For international cards:
- Your bank will convert the charge to your local currency
- Exchange rates are determined by your card issuer
- Additional foreign transaction fees may apply from your bank
8. Payment Security
Your payment security is our priority:
- All payments are processed through Paystack (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)
- Card details are encrypted and never stored on Nairakey servers
- 3D Secure authentication is enabled for card payments
- SSL/TLS encryption protects all data transmission
9. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect:
- Contact us first at billing@nairakey.com
- Provide transaction details and reason for dispute
- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension pending investigation.
10. Promotional Offers
From time to time, we may offer promotional pricing:
- Promotional prices apply only for the specified period
- After the promotional period, standard pricing applies
- Promotions cannot be combined with other offers
- We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time
11. Upgrading and Downgrading
11.1 Upgrades
When upgrading your subscription:
- You will be charged the prorated difference immediately
- New features are available instantly after payment
- Your billing cycle date remains unchanged
11.2 Downgrades
When downgrading your subscription:
- Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No prorated refunds for the remaining period
- Access to higher-tier features continues until period end
- Listings exceeding new plan limits may be deactivated
12. Account Suspension
Nairakey may suspend your account for:
- Repeated failed payment attempts
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Violation of our Terms of Use
- Chargeback disputes under investigation
13. Refunds

14. Changes to Payment Terms
We may update these Payment Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of our paid services after changes constitutes acceptance.
